I am in central Florida and we are getting a lot of rain from I have been getting my house ready for a visit from my sister but this morning all was done. I will pick her up at the Tampa Airport tomorrow afternoon. So this morning I sat at the table and let my mind TANGLE. So I did Dares #17, #18 and #19. I still have #20 to finish then on to the Challenges that I have missed. I love these Dares and Challenges I just get behind but oh its fun to play catchup. Gee I do the same thing with my cross stitch, just love my hobbies.

My fist Tangle Box

I have to share my newest project. After my introduction class yesterday I headed for the Scrapbook store today to pick up a few things. They didn't have many books since they were waiting for an order to come in but I picked up some black tiles which I wanted to try. Than I went to Hobby Lobby for a white pen and some paper mache boxes for ZenTangle.
My first black tile with my grandson's name

This is the small box that I did and I really like it with all its tangles.

Weekly Challenge #80 for I'm a Diva's

Here is my answer to Diva's  Weekly Challenge #80.   It was the first time I used Mi2 and I am not really happy with it so I will be working on this one again. It will make a great addition to my tangles.

I went to my first class/introduction class to Zen Tangle yesterday and it was fun and I will be looking for another class very soon.

Diva's challenge #79

My answer to Diva's challenge #79 was hard for me who is circle challenged but with a little help from a bottle cap I have my 5 circles.

And it turned out my yellow pen was really brown but I used a yellow highlighter to yellow it out a little.

Zendala Dare #14

Here is my tangle for the Zendala Dare #14 at The Bright Owl. I used a official tangle but than let my hand and mind just go with what I thought looked good.

I am having a ball adding ZenTangle to my cross stitch hobby. If you would like to take a look check out my other blog, Stitching Again

Weekly Challenge #78: Auraknot

I have come to the conclusion that I can't draw a straight line and a line that doesn't wobble. Here is my answer to the Weekly Challenge at I am a diva with the new Auraknot tangle. Its a fun tangle to draw even if I can't make mine a smooth as I would like to make it. But I will be adding it to more of my designs.

My Zendala Dare #12

Well I have been playing with the Zendala Dare #12 from Erin at The Bright Owl and I wanted to share it with you all.

I am having fun doing these.

I also had to play with the new Auraknot pattern that Rick and Maria demonstrate how to draw today. Once I got the hang of it they slowly got better. I still have some pretty shakey lines but I will get there.

Weekly Challenge #77 Fiore di Pietro

The Fiore Di Pietro is a very nice tribute to Rho's Brother in Law Pete. I am still learning to do these great tangles but here is my take on this weeks challenge. It is the first time that I have joined the challenge and I have had a lot of fun working on it.
My heart goes out to Rho and all her family in this sad time. And I will be very proud to have my design in the book's Rho's doing for her family. I think they will gain comfort from knowing so many people took the time to do this great tribute,

I have found ZenTangle

I have found a new hobby or should I say something I have always done has now become its own art form. I have always doodled and now with ZenTangle I can see how it can become part of my life. I have not taken a class yet but I am planning to as soon as I can. I am going to an introduction class this month and as soon as the leader gets her certification I will take a full class with her.

I have seen may great site done by Tangle artists and enjoyed them. To learn more about ZenTangle and the thoughts behind it please go to Rick and Maria page.

I am going to use this blog for my Tangles, I try to use the official ones and of course many of my own my slip in. I haven’t gotten the knack of repeating the same design over and over mine don’t want to look the same darn it but I will keep trying. I will also try to post my answer to the Diva Weekly Challenge each week.

Thanks for stopping by.
